John Raffel, DDS
John Raffel was born in New York City and attended Brooklyn Technical High School, an engineering magnet school. He graduated City College of New York with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree. He left engineering 10 years later as an assistant plant manager in Baltimore, Maryland.
His Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was from Howard University in Washington D.C. where he was granted a full four year scholarship.
He completed an advanced dental training program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach.
Dr. John Raffel co-founded a general practice residency program at a dental research clinic and left as program director.
He was a part-time clinical professor at Nova Southeastern College of Dentistry in Florida and lectured at a foreign trained dentist program for the University of Florida. He continues to lecture about dentistry at colleges, church groups, clinic organizations and schools.
He is a member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Business Network International and Christian Chamber of Commerce
